Counselling Centre

The counselling Centre offers non-judgmental support on a range of issues such as families, relationships, mental health, HIV, bereavement and gender identity.  Due to the nature of this work the counselling service is being delivered by a mix of community organisations and charities alongside volunteers from among our own congregation who cover our welcome desk.

Charities and partnerships who access our centre:-

Held in Mind

This is a partnership project that aims to offer and deliver counselling support to the parents and carers of children at Carlton Hill and Elm Grove Primary Schools and at Tarner Nursery.

Clare Project

The Clare Project is a self-supporting group based in Brighton & Hove open to anyone wishing to explore issues around gender identity.  The ultimate goal of transgender counselling is to help the transgender individual accept their uniqueness, rather than hiding it away in shame or confusion.

HIV Work

Lunch Positive is a weekly lunch club for people with, and affected by HIV.  An integral aspect of our service is the regular inclusion of support workers from other organisations who attend the lunch club and offer support to people in need.  The counselling space enables them to meet and talk privately with their clients.  Funded via Lunch Positive

If you would like to access our counselling room then please contact our Administrator, Mrs Angela Millanzi.
